personally I consider both liberal (as in libertarian) and conservative (as in traditionalist) on the Right.

Sure, but that is because they are lying about being conservative or on the Right. If you look into the origins of neoconservatism they are leftists who became disillusioned with soviet Russia.

Sounds like trotskyites to me.
